Kimberly T. Lee has dedicated her career to guiding individuals and families through the complexities of estate planning, trust and probate administration, and wealth preservation. As the founder of Desert Law Group in Indian Wells, California, Kimberly has built a reputation for her warm, client-focused approach. She believes that every person deserves to protect their assets and ensure a smooth transition of their legacy. Kimberly finds deep satisfaction in helping clients avoid the pitfalls of probate, reduce tax burdens, and maintain family harmony.

After earning her Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) degree with the highest honors from the University of La Verne College of Law, Kimberly began her legal journey as an attorney at the California Supreme Court. This experience laid the foundation for her expertise in estate planning and trust administration, where she applied her knowledge of tax, real property, business, and community property laws to offer clients comprehensive solutions.

In addition to her legal competency, Kimberly is also a Certified Financial Planner™, which is highly sought after and the gold standard in the financial planning arena. Having the broad knowledge and competency in financial, tax and legal aspects help Kimberly to better serve her clients’ needs.

Licensed to practice in all courts in California, including the United States Tax Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Kimberly stays current with the latest legal developments through her active participation in various professional organizations. Her memberships include the Wealth Counsel, LLC, and Elder Counsel, LLC. She also served as President of the Desert Bar Association from 2017 to 2018, as well as the Education Chair for the California Lawyers Association.

Beyond her legal practice, Kimberly is deeply involved in her community. She served on the Board of Directors for the Desert Estate Planning Council, as well as the Advisory Board for the American Cancer Society, Animal Samaritans, Coachella Valley Community Foundation, and First Foundation Bank. She also volunteered as a mediator for the Volunteer Settlement Conference program at the Riverside County Superior Court. Kimberly’s commitment to education is evident in her role as a lecturer on cash management and estate preservation strategies at the College of the Desert, and as a sought-after speaker on estate planning topics for various organizations.
